Would you like to wear your Junya Ishigami glasses in your ambient white home?

Or perhaps work in the garden with these 'sun grasses' , by architect Yuko Nagayama?

Or these funky Nishzawa specs?

Very cosmopolitan much? Or if you really wanted to look 'sketchy' and drawn-out may I suggest these.

But finally I think the ultimate would be the Sejima-san glasses.

these can't go wrong. Imagine wearing these babies at the Rolex Centre. Whoo!
I may be name-dropping or 'branding' architects here, but what I am trying to point out is that a spectacle or collection such as this would be very unlikely in Australia.
One reason is that glasses cost more in Aust (these ones retail for about $150?). Production and the market may not be fertile as per Japan. But perhaps another reason may reflect the state of the architectural industry in Australia as well?
The glasses above are made by a company called Jin's and are a regular feature in your suburban shopping mall in Japan. Glasses are made in an instant and on the spot. It's interesting to note that exposure to architecture is readily accessible by a large scope of people, not only industry specific. Little things such as this can be a trigger into peoples appreciation of beautiful buildings maybe? Perhaps this is what architecture should be, one that is accessible to all.
