Cloudscapes

A circular ramp is spun around the interiors. There is a thick mist forming through the air, figures are lost in the distance. The individual is suppressed as we become an anonymous collective. Welcome to Cloudscapes.
A ‘cloud’ is brought inside the exhibit space. Clouds, often portrayed as freeness and perhaps childhood reveries, do not have the same connotations here. It is hot, humid with shadows stifling and morphing our surrounds. Perhaps it is representative of lost causes as we internalise feelings, trapping thoughts until they become redundant. We walk aimlessly through the clouds only to discover futility. We become part of the architecture.

This is truly stunning. I wish I could experience it in person.

@Ally, it was stunning. But the photos looked better than reality. It wasn't as airy or ephemeral-ly, it was rather mechanical and had a chemical smell to it!!
