Renaissance Exhibition at the NGA in Canberra. We went on a really wet day. Somehow that was nice as well, being inside car/gallery seemed more snug and appealing. As the gallery had a really strict no photo policy I have no photos for the bloggy :-( ...but the exhibition itself was fantastic.
Very well curated. There is so much wealth (as in depth) in Western art. From the technical standpoint to the evolution of ideas, notions and attitudes the exhibition cover much of this.
The only photo of the artworks are these postcards! I realised the postcard (at the top) ha s been cropped! Virginia isn't in the Botticelli's Virginia the Roman. I guess they had to crop it to fit in your 6x4 tourist postcard. haha
