I went from here

to here

haha royce chocolate

Saw the film Red Dog, it exceeded my expectations.
Check it out if you will.
Airport food went from this ($9.50)
to this (345 yen?)
both nice though.
I got so accustomed of bowing that coming back home I had to adjust and tell myself 'hey, I don't have to bow when I go out of a store'.
Have you found differences after hopping off the plane in a new place?

Hello there,
I'd love to go to Hokkaido, but am always told by Japanese friends that it looks a lot like Germany and I shouldn't really go there...
So what did you do there?
In Japan you - as customer - doesn't really bow when entering or leaving a shop though. But the clerks are always nice and loud with their "Irashaimase!" Miss it a lot.
Greetings!
@Chisa, I've yet to visit Germany but Hokkaido was certainly different to other parts of Japan. Abundant with nature and less of the dense cityscape.
Yea, I probably overdid the bowing lol.
