2012 Review

I've been been busy/exhausted working the last couple of weeks, so I'm writing this now.

For me, the new year started a couple of weeks back with things wrapping up then rather at the end of December. Exam results, holidays and my work schedule all wraps up by mid-December.

In any case, I was contemplating on writing this review earlier but I gave myself the rest of the month if I had anything else to add (which there were none).

2012 was a great year. I was able to make meaningful connections with people, manage my life better and take part in new things.

- I managed my university schedule and workload well. It was a tough year, approaching my final year of my course. I was generally sane and level-headed through out both the semesters

- Continuing from the last point, a couple of weeks back I received pleasing exam results. This is very encouraging for a soon to be graduate.

-Travelled to Japan. It was an amazing trip. Loved going to Japan.

-This one is a big one that I haven't mentioned on this blog. Earlier in the year I was going through a severe eczema flare-up. I was quite emotionally vested on this and as I wanted to keep this blog positive I wasn't compelled to write about it. It was several months of hospital visits, specialists appointment and constant management of my condition.

I'm happy to say I am now in a much better state. Eczema being hereditary, it is certainly something you have but it is not something that defines you. I feel like this is a huge accomplishment for the year.

-I have also changed my diet as well. I am much more disciplined with my eating habits than before. I still do have the occasional cake or ice-cream however it is more of a conscious decision. There's many benefits from making healthier food choices especially if you have allergy related issues.

I'm really thankful for my friends, family and co-workers to be great support during the year. I can't say how much my workplace (especially) and university was understanding during the year.

For the blog 2013:

- I would like to be a better photographer.
