Recently, I spent my hard earned savings on this book! And it hasn't let me down, it's become the latest book that I am marvelling in amazement.
The deep meditative spaces these buildings are just so inspiring.
And the craftsmanship is utter perfection... the materials just seem to glide.
I think he uses material in an honest and true form.
I also think his designs evoke quietness.
Very simple but so complete.
And this is my little piece of Japanese joinery. Sometimes I envision this box to be like one of those houses above...
Apologies for my prolonged absence. I've been a little busy lately with my tafe course in CAD. I shall be posting my computer drawings up soon.
