Straight after posting the last entry the internet connection broke down, due to a big thunderstorm that swept through the night. The storm has calmed now however there has been an internet outage all weekend. It felt nice at first, peaceful not having to check emails etc. I resorted to reading books and architecture magazines. But by this afternoon it became an inconvenience, I needed to sort out things planned out for the week. :-( After an hour on the phone with the phone company I managed to set up an old pocket wifi. So glad I kept this little device from last year. Seamless online connection has become such an essential to many tasks now.
I am having a huge-ish clean out now, reconfiguring my room as it will be occupied in the summer. Will be posting some after shots for motivation. My aim is always for a neat surrounding, I admire those who are able to maintain this. It's so inspirational!!
There are also a few items I am needing to replace accessories wise. Recently a lot of my accessories, ie. watch, bag etc are in need of repair or replacement. My wallet is looking unsightly and dishevelled so its in need of an update. I don't like spending $ on things, but is important that things look neat and tidy so it's a necessity. I always think it takes much effort and time to upkeep on your appearance and surrounds. I mean, it feels great when you're well presented and organised but sometimes it is so much effort that you want to just lounge around and be slobbish. This is very much a cyclic process for me.
Even hair and makeup in the morning, for me it takes around an hour getting ready to have decent hair and makeup. It feels great to have neat hair and all, but its also a lot of work.
What I'm trying to say I really like being this neat and presentable person, it's beneficial. It feels great and refreshing. I also find that it is something I have to work on and it is not second nature. I always look up to those who are, I think it shows a lot of ownership to the work you do.
Okay, I have stayed up way to late writing this!
