While I was on holiday in Copenhagen, I was keen to try some seafood. After some search on the web, this cafe/restaurant located in the main Nyhavn area seemed decent. The restaurant served an all-you-can eat buffet serving just herring dishes. Yes, just herring!
The herring buffet consisted of all types of dishes but there were predominantly cured or salted fish. It was interesting dipping raw egg in I think a smoked fish. The price was a good deal and the service was good; but for me, there was an extent on how much I could stomach cured fish alone. Being Japanese, I thought I would be fine with any type of seafood dish; but I felt a little queasy afterwards. Overall, it was a new and pleasant experience.
